प्रतिश्रवणसंभाषे शयानो न समाचरेत् / नासीनो न च भुञ्जानो न तिष्ठन्न पराङ्मुखः

pratiśravaṇasaṃbhāṣe śayāno na samācaret / nāsīno na ca bhuñjāno na tiṣṭhanna parāṅmukhaḥ

ശ്രദ്ധാപൂർവ്വം കേൾക്കലിലും വിനയസംഭാഷണത്തിലും കിടന്നുകൊണ്ട് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യരുത്; ഇരുന്നുകൊണ്ടും, ഭക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോഴും, പിന്നോട്ട് തിരിഞ്ഞ് നിന്നുകൊണ്ടും ചെയ്യരുത്।
