त्रिः प्राश्नीयादपः पूर्वं ब्राह्मणः प्रयतस्ततः / संमृज्याङ्गुष्ठमूलेन मुखं वै समुपस्पृशेत्

ആദ്യം നിയന്ത്രിതനായ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ജലം ആചമനം ചെയ്യണം; പിന്നെ അധരങ്ങൾ തുടച്ച് അങ്കുഷ്ഠമൂലത്തോടെ വായ് സ്പർശിച്ച് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കണം।
