Tāmasa Sarga, the Androgynous Division of Brahmā, and the Lineages of Dharma and Adharma

तमोमात्रावृतो ब्रह्मा तदाशोचत दुः खितः / ततः स विदधे बुद्धिमर्थनिश्चयगामिनीम्

tamomātrāvṛto brahmā tadāśocata duḥ khitaḥ / tataḥ sa vidadhe buddhimarthaniścayagāminīm

തമസ്സുമാത്രം മൂടിയ ബ്രഹ്മാവ് അപ്പോൾ ദുഃഖിതനായി ശോകിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് അർത്ഥവും ലക്ഷ്യവും നിർണ്ണയത്തിലേക്കു നയിക്കുന്ന ബുദ്ധിയെ അദ്ദേഹം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു।
