nāśraddadhāne dātavyaṃ nābhakte parameṣṭhinaḥ / na vedavidviṣu śubhaṃ jñānanānāṃ jñānamuttamam

Translation

അശ്രദ്ധയുള്ളവന് ഇത് നൽകരുത്; പരമേശ്വരന്റെ അഭക്തനും അല്ല. വേദദ്വേഷികളിൽ മംഗളം ഇല്ല; എല്ലാ ജ്ഞാനങ്ങളിലും പരമതത്ത്വത്തിലേക്കു നയിക്കുന്ന ജ്ഞാനമേ ഉത്തമം।
