Narrator (Purana-vakta) describing Aditi’s response to Vishnu/Keshava
Primary Rasa: bhakti (shanta)
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents fulfillment (kṛtārthatā) as arising when the mind meets the Supreme through darśana and devotion—implying that the self’s deepest aim is realized in God-realization rather than in worldly attainment.
The verse foregrounds bhakti as an inner discipline: attentive vision (darśana), reverent affect, and the intention to please the Lord—elements that align with yogic restraint of the mind and one-pointed devotion emphasized across the Kurma Purana’s spiritual teaching.
Though Vishnu (Keshava) is explicitly named, the Kurma Purana’s broader synthesis treats sincere devotion and divine grace as shared theological ground across Shaiva and Vaishnava frames—devotion becomes the unifying path rather than sectarian difference.
