इति श्रीकूर्मपुराणे षट्साहस्त्र्यां संहितायां पूर्वविभागे पञ्चदशो ऽध्यायः श्रीकूर्म उवाच अन्दके निगृहीते वै प्रह्लादस्य महात्मनः / विरोचनो नाम सुतो बभूव नृपतिः पुरा

ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീകൂർമപുരാണത്തിലെ ഷട്സാഹസ്ത്രീ സംഹിതയുടെ പൂർവവിഭാഗത്തിൽ പതിനഞ്ചാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തം. ശ്രീകൂർമൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—അന്ധകൻ നിഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ട ശേഷം മഹാത്മാവായ പ്രഹ്ലാദന് വിരോചനൻ എന്നൊരു പുത്രൻ പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് ജനിച്ചു; അവൻ രാജാവായി.
