सो ऽनुगृह्याथ राजानं सुशीलं शीलसंयुतम् / शिष्यत्वे परिजग्राह तपसा क्षीणकल्पषम्

പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം അനുഗ്രഹിച്ച്, സുസ്വഭാവിയും ശീലസമ്പന്നനുമായ ആ രാജാവിനെ—തപസ്സാൽ പാപങ്ങൾ ക്ഷയിച്ചവനെ—ശിഷ്യനായി സ്വീകരിച്ചു।
