येन दुग्धा मही पूर्वं प्राजानां हितकारणात् / नियोगाद् ब्रह्मणः सार्धं देवेन्द्रेण महौजसा

yena dugdhā mahī pūrvaṃ prājānāṃ hitakāraṇāt / niyogād brahmaṇaḥ sārdhaṃ devendreṇa mahaujasā

പ്രജകളുടെ ഹിതത്തിനായി പൂർവകാലത്ത് അവൻ ഭൂമിയെ ‘ദുഗ്ധം’ ചെയ്തു—ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ നിയോഗപ്രകാരം—മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ള ദേവേന്ദ്ര ഇന്ദ്രനോടൊപ്പം.
