एवमुग्रश्रवा: पृष्ट ऋषिभिर्नैमिषायनै: । भगवत्यर्पिताध्यात्मस्तानाह श्रूयतामिति ॥ ७ ॥
evam ugraśravāḥ pṛṣṭa ṛṣibhir naimiṣāyanaiḥ bhagavaty arpitādhyātmas tān āha śrūyatām iti
നൈമിഷാരണ്യത്തിലെ മഹർഷികൾ ഇങ്ങനെ ചോദിച്ചതോടെ, റോമഹർഷണപുത്രനായ ഉഗ്രശ്രവാ സൂതഗോസ്വാമി—ഭഗവാന്റെ ദിവ്യലീലകളിൽ മനസ്സർപ്പിച്ചവൻ—അവരോട് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ പറയുന്നതു കേൾക്കുവിൻ।
