दन्दशूकादय: सर्पा राजन् क्रोधवशात्मजा: । इलाया भूरुहा: सर्वे यातुधानाश्च सौरसा: ॥ २८ ॥
dandaśūkādayaḥ sarpā rājan krodhavaśātmajāḥ ilāyā bhūruhāḥ sarve yātudhānāś ca saurasāḥ
ഹേ രാജൻ, ക്രോധവശയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ ദണ്ഡശൂക മുതലായ സർപ്പങ്ങളും മറ്റു സർപ്പങ്ങളും കൊതുകുപോലുള്ള കീടങ്ങളും ആയി ജനിച്ചു. ഇളയുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ നിന്ന് എല്ലാ ലതകളും വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും സസ്യങ്ങളും ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു. സുരസയുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ നിന്ന് യാതുധാനർ—രാക്ഷസാദി ദുഷ്ടാത്മവർഗം—ജനിച്ചു.
