तत्र श्रद्धा मनो: पत्नी होतारं समयाचत । दुहित्रर्थमुपागम्य प्रणिपत्य पयोव्रता ॥ १४ ॥
tatra śraddhā manoḥ patnī hotāraṁ samayācata duhitrartham upāgamya praṇipatya payovratā
ആ യജ്ഞത്തിൽ മനുവിന്റെ ഭാര്യ ശ്രദ്ധാ, പാലുമാത്രം കഴിക്കുന്ന വ്രതം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, ഹോതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു നമസ്കരിച്ചു പുത്രിയെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
