न ह्यङ्गाजातनिर्वेदो देहबन्धं जिहासति । यथा विज्ञानरहितो मनुजो ममतां नृप ॥ २९ ॥

Transliteration

na hy aṅgājāta-nirvedo deha-bandhaṁ jihāsati yathā vijñāna-rahito manujo mamatāṁ nṛpa

Translation

ഹേ രാജാവേ, ആത്മജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്ത മനുഷ്യൻ പല ഭൗതിക വസ്തുക്കളോടുള്ള മമത ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാത്തതുപോലെ, വൈരാഗ്യമില്ലാത്തവൻ ദേഹബന്ധനം വിട്ടൊഴിയാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കില്ല।
