dṛṣṭvā ta uttamaḥ-ślokaṁ prīty-utphulānanāśayāḥ kair dhṛtāñjalibhir nemuḥ śruta-pūrvāṁs tathā munīn

ഉത്തമശ്ലോകനായ പ്രഭുവിനെ കണ്ട ഉടൻ ജനങ്ങളുടെ മുഖവും ഹൃദയവും പ്രീതിയിൽ വിരിഞ്ഞു. അവർ തലക്കുമീതെ കൈകൂപ്പി പ്രഭുവിനെയും, കൂടെ വന്ന—മുമ്പ് കേട്ടുമാത്രമായ—മുനിമാരെയും വണങ്ങി.
