Vasudeva and Devakī Glorify Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; The Recovery of Devakī’s Six Sons from Sutala
śrī-bhagavān uvāca vaco vaḥ samavetārthaṁ tātaitad upamanmahe yan naḥ putrān samuddiśya tattva-grāma udāhṛtaḥ
Posing as Vasudeva’s dependent son, Lord Kṛṣṇa expresses gratitude for His father’s edifying instructions.
In this verse, 'tattva-grāma' refers to a complete, organized collection of essential spiritual truths—core principles meant to guide understanding and devotion.
Kṛṣṇa acknowledges that Vasudeva’s words had a single deeper purpose: speaking philosophical truths with loving concern for Kṛṣṇa’s sons, and Kṛṣṇa affirms He has understood that intent.
It teaches to listen for the true intention behind spiritual instruction—often grounded in care and responsibility—and to value coherent, principle-based guidance rather than scattered advice.
