संविभज्याग्रतो विप्रान् स्रक्‌ताम्बूलानुलेपनै: । सुहृद: प्रकृतीर्दारानुपायुङ्क्त तत: स्वयम् ॥ १३ ॥

saṁvibhajyāgrato viprān srak-tāmbūlānulepanaiḥ suhṛdaḥ prakṛtīr dārān upāyuṅkta tataḥ svayam

ആദ്യം അദ്ദേഹം ബ്രാഹ്മണർക്കു പുഷ്പമാല, താംബൂലം, ചന്ദനലേപനം എന്നിവ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു; തുടർന്ന് അതേ ദാനങ്ങൾ സുഹൃത്തുകൾക്കും മന്ത്രിമാർക്കും ഭാര്യമാർക്കും നൽകി; അവസാനം അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെയും അവ സ്വീകരിച്ചു.
