Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers

ततो बाहुसहस्रेण नानायुधधरोऽसुर: । मुमोच परमक्रुद्धो बाणांश्चक्रायुधे नृप ॥ ३१ ॥

tato bāhu-sahasreṇa nānāyudha-dharo ’suraḥ mumoca parama-kruddho bāṇāṁś cakrāyudhe nṛpa

അപ്പോൾ, രാജാവേ, ആയിരം കൈകളിൽ പലവിധ ആയുധങ്ങൾ ധരിച്ച ആ അസുരൻ അത്യന്തം ക്രുദ്ധനായി ചക്രായുധധാരിയായ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനിലേക്കു അനവധി അമ്പുകൾ വിട്ടു.
