FAQs

Cārumatī is described here as the wide-eyed daughter of Queen Rukmiṇī, who was married to the powerful son of Kṛtavarmā.

Śukadeva is narrating the dynastic details of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s family to King Parīkṣit; the address 'rājan' marks the ongoing teacher–disciple dialogue and keeps the narration personal and attentive.

It highlights the importance of honoring family responsibilities and social dharma—forming relationships with integrity while remembering that all worldly ties are ultimately meant to support devotion and virtue.
