Kṛṣṇa Visits Indraprastha; Kuntī’s Remembrance; Kālindī and Further Marriages
वरं विलोक्याभिमतं समागतं नरेन्द्रकन्या चकमे रमापतिम् । भूयादयं मे पतिराशिषोऽनल: करोतु सत्या यदि मे धृतो व्रत: ॥ ३६ ॥
varaṁ vilokyābhimataṁ samāgataṁ narendra-kanyā cakame ramā-patim bhūyād ayaṁ me patir āśiṣo ’nalaḥ karotu satyā yadi me dhṛto vrataḥ
രാജകുമാരി തനിക്കിഷ്ടമായ മനോഹര വരൻ എത്തിയതായി കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, രമാപതി ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനെയേ ഭർത്താവായി ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു. അവൾ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു—“ഇവൻ തന്നെ എന്റെ പതി ആകട്ടെ; ഞാൻ സത്യവ്രതം പാലിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, ഈ പവിത്ര അഗ്നി എന്റെ ആശ പൂർത്തിയാക്കട്ടെ.”
