Uddhava Meets the Gopīs: Bhramara-gītā and Kṛṣṇa’s Message of Separation
वयमृतमिव जिह्मव्याहृतं श्रद्दधाना: कुलिकरुतमिवाज्ञा: कृष्णवध्वो हरिण्य: । ददृशुरसकृदेतत्तन्नखस्पर्शतीव्र- स्मररुज उपमन्त्रिन् भण्यतामन्यवार्ता ॥ १९ ॥
vayam ṛtam iva jihma-vyāhṛtaṁ śraddadhānāḥ kulika-rutam ivājñāḥ kṛṣṇa-vadhvo hariṇyaḥ dadṛśur asakṛd etat tan-nakha-sparśa-tīvra smara-ruja upamantrin bhaṇyatām anya-vārtā
അവന്റെ വഞ്ചനാഭരിതമായ വാക്കുകളെയും സത്യമെന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചു; ക്രൂര വേട്ടക്കാരന്റെ പാട്ടിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന കറുത്ത മാൻപെൺമാരെപ്പോലെ. അവന്റെ നഖസ്പർശത്തിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന കാമവേദന ഞങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും അനുഭവിച്ചു. ഹേ ദൂതാ, കൃഷ്ണനെക്കുറിച്ചല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊരു വാർത്ത പറയൂ.
