इति प्रियं हितं वाक्यं भुव आदाय भूपति: । वत्सं कृत्वा मनुं पाणावदुहत्सकलौषधी: ॥ १२ ॥

Transliteration

iti priyaṁ hitaṁ vākyaṁ bhuva ādāya bhūpatiḥ vatsaṁ kṛtvā manuṁ pāṇāv aduhat sakalauṣadhīḥ

Translation

ഭൂമിയുടെ പ്രിയവും ഹിതകരവുമായ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് രാജാവ് അവ സ്വീകരിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് സ്വായംഭുവ മനുവിനെ കിടാവാക്കി, ഭൂമി-പശുവിൽ നിന്ന് തന്റെ കൂപ്പുകൈകളിൽ എല്ലാ ഔഷധികളും ധാന്യവും ദോഹിച്ചു.
