Pṛthu Pursues the Earth and the Earth Takes the Form of a Cow

सा दिशो विदिशो देवी रोदसी चान्तरं तयो: । धावन्ती तत्र तत्रैनं ददर्शानूद्यतायुधम् ॥ १६ ॥
sā diśo vidiśo devī rodasī cāntaraṁ tayoḥ dhāvantī tatra tatrainaṁ dadarśānūdyatāyudham
ഗോരൂപിണിയായ ദേവി ഭൂമി ദിക്കുകളിലും ഉപദിക്കുകളിലും, സ്വർഗ്ഗലോകങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും തമ്മിലുള്ള അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിലും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും അങ്ങോട്ടും ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവൾ എവിടെയെവിടെ ഓടിയാലും രാജാവ് ധനുസ്സും അമ്പുകളും ഉയർത്തി പിന്തുടരുന്നതു അവൾ കണ്ടു।
