शत्रुनाशनम्। असदन् गावः सदनेऽपप्तद् वसतिं वयः । आस्थाने पर्वता अस्थुः स्थाम्नि वृक्कावतिष्ठिपम्

IAST Transliteration

śatrunāśanám. ásadan gā́vaḥ sádane ’paptad vasatíṃ váyaḥ | āsthā́ne párvatā asthuḥ sthā́mni vṛ́kkāv atiṣṭhipam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Enemy-destruction. The cows have sat down within the dwelling; the bird hath flown away from the habitation. The mountains have stood fast in their station: in its place have I set the two wolves firm.

Translation

ശത്രുനാശനം. പശുക്കൾ വസതിക്കുള്ളിൽ ഇരുന്നു; പക്ഷി വാസസ്ഥലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പറന്നുപോയി. പർവതങ്ങൾ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് അചലമായി നിന്നു; അതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് ഞാൻ ആ രണ്ടു ചെന്നായകളെ ദൃഢമായി സ്ഥാപിച്ചു.
