Sukta 57
अनास्माकस्तद् देवपीयुः पियारुर्निष्कमिव प्रति मुञ्चताम्। नवारत्नीनपमया अस्माकं ततः परि । दुष्वप्न्यं सर्वं द्विषते निर्दयामसि
anāsmā́kas tád devapī́yuḥ piyā́rur níṣkam iva práti muñcatām | návāratnīn apámayā asmā́kaṃ tátas pári | duṣvápmyaṃ sárvaṃ dvíṣate nírdayāmasi
Not ours be that: let the god-drinking Piyāru release it back, as one unfastens a niṣka-amulet. With the nine-knotted (cord) remove it away from us, wholly from our sphere. All ill-dream evil do we cast forth unto the hater.
അത് ഞങ്ങളുടേതാകരുത്: ദേവപാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന പിയാരു, നിഷ്ക-താലിസ്മാൻ അഴിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, അതിനെ തിരികെ വിട്ടുകളയട്ടെ. ഒമ്പത്-കെട്ടുള്ള നൂൽകൊണ്ട് അതിനെ ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന്, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പരിധിയിൽ നിന്ന് പൂർണ്ണമായി അകറ്റുക. എല്ലാ ദുഷ്വപ്ന്യം (അശുഭസ്വപ്നദോഷം) ഞങ്ങൾ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിർദയമായി തള്ളിക്കളയുന്നു.
