तथाप्यतुष्यन्तमन्यस्मिन्पुत्रे दारेषु वा स्निह्यन्तमरण्यायापृच्छेत ॥ कZ_०१.१८.०५ ॥

Transliteration

tathāpy atuṣyantam anyasmin putre dāreṣu vā snihyantam araṇyāya āpṛccheta

Translation

എന്നിട്ടും പിതാവ് അസന്തുഷ്ടനായി തുടരുകയും—മറ്റൊരു പുത്രനോടോ തന്റെ ഭാര്യമാരോടോ സ്നേഹം കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ—അവൻ വനത്തിലേക്ക് പോകാൻ അനുവാദം വാങ്ങി (രാജസഭയിൽ നിന്ന്) പിന്മാറണം.
