कन्या ह्यदायादा परेषामेवार्थायाक्लेश्या च ॥ कZ_०७.१७.१६ ॥
Transliteration
kanyā hy adāyādā pareṣām evārthāyākleśyā ca
Translation
കാരണം മകൾ സ്വന്തം ജന്മവംശത്തിൽ അവകാശിനിയല്ല; അവൾ മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ (ഭർത്താവിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്റെ) താൽപര്യത്തിനായിരിക്കും, അവൾക്ക് കഷ്ടതയും ഏൽപ്പിക്കപ്പെടാം.
