हीनमनुहन्यात् न त्वेव स्वभूमिप्राप्तं त्यक्तात्मानं वा ॥ कZ_१०.३.५६ ॥

Transliteration

hīnamanuhanyāt na tveva svabhūmiprāptaṃ tyaktātmānaṃ vā

Translation

ദുർബലനായ ശത്രുവിനെ പിന്തുടർന്ന് ആക്രമിക്കാം; എന്നാൽ സ്വന്തം പ്രദേശത്ത് എത്തിച്ചേർന്നവനെയോ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ജീവൻ പ്രതീക്ഷ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് അശ്രദ്ധ/ബോധമില്ലാത്തവിധം (അർത്ഥം: ‘സ്വയം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച’) ആയവനെയോ പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുത്.
