Transliteration

teṣāṃ karmaphalavinipāte tatphalahānaṃ daṇḍaḥ

Translation

അവർക്കു നിയോഗിച്ച ജോലി നിർവഹിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ലഭിച്ച ഫലം/ഉൽപ്പാദനം നശിക്കുകയോ തെറ്റായി വിനിയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ, ശിക്ഷയായി അതേ ഫലനഷ്ടം (അത് തന്നെയുള്ള ലാഭം പിടിച്ചെടുക്കൽ) ആയിരിക്കും.
