तदुभयं तापनिकषाभ्यां निह्शब्दोल्लेखनाभ्यां वा विद्यात् ॥ कZ_०२.१४.३२ ॥

Transliteration

tad ubhayaṃ tāpanikaṣābhyāṃ nihśabdollekhanābhyāṃ vā vidyāt

Translation

ആ രണ്ടു തരങ്ങളെയും ചൂടാക്കലും നികഷ് (ടച്ച്‌സ്റ്റോൺ) പരീക്ഷണവും വഴി, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ശബ്ദമില്ലാതെ ചുരണ്ടലും കൊത്തുപണിയും (എൻഗ്രേവിംഗ്) പരീക്ഷണങ്ങളും വഴി തിരിച്ചറിയണം.
