तथाप्यभिप्रयान्तं कोशदण्डयोः पादोत्तरमहोरात्रोत्तरं वा संधिं याचेत ॥ कZ_१२.१.२४ ॥
Transliteration
tathāpy abhiprayāntaṃ kośadaṇḍayoḥ pādottaram ahorātrottaraṃ vā saṃdhiṃ yāceta
Translation
എങ്കിലും, അവൻ മുന്നേറുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, സന്ധി അപേക്ഷിക്കണം—ഖജനാവിലും ദണ്ഡത്തിലും (സൈന്യബലം) നിന്ന് ക്രമേണ കൂടുതൽ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്ത്, പടിപടിയായി, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഓരോ പകലും രാത്രിയും കടന്നുപോകുന്തോറും.
