FAQs

It teaches place-specific mantra-japa: recite in a cowshed for livestock-gain and at a crossroads for wealth-gain, using a mantra identified by its incipit “vayaḥ suparṇa”.

It preserves a pragmatic ritual-technology: linking intention (kāma), location (goṣṭha/catuṣpatha), and mantra-incipit—showing the text’s catalog-like coverage of applied rites alongside theology and doctrine.

The verse frames prosperity (Śrī) as a lawful fruit (phala) of disciplined japa performed with proper contextual observance, implying merit through regulated speech, intent, and ritual propriety.
