Sage Parāśara (in instruction to Maitreya, within a stotra describing Vishnu’s all-pervading supremacy)
This verse presents Vishnu as the single supreme reality that manifests as the multiplicity of beings, affirming both cosmic unity and divine sovereignty over all existence.
Through this praise, Parāśara indicates that Vishnu is not merely a distant creator but the indwelling Ātman within all beings—the sustaining presence by which every creature lives and exists.
Vishnu is affirmed as Para Brahman—the source, pervader, and inner ruler of all beings—supporting core Vaishnava metaphysics where the universe depends upon and is governed by Him.
