स्वाङ्कृ॑तोऽसि॒ विश्वे॑भ्य इन्द्रि॒येभ्यो॑ दि॒व्येभ्य॒ः पार्थि॑वेभ्यो॒ मन॑स्त्वाष्टु॒ स्वाहा॑ त्वा सुभव॒ सूर्या॑य दे॒वेभ्य॑स्त्वा मरीचि॒पेभ्यो॒ देवा॑ᳪशो॒ यस्मै॒ त्वेडे॒ तत्स॒त्यमु॑परि॒प्रुता॑ भ॒ङ्गेन॑ ह॒तोऽसौ॒ फट् प्रा॒णाय॑ त्वा व्या॒नाय॑ त्वा
svā́ṅkṛto ’si víśvebhya indríyebhyo divyébhyàḥ pārthivébhyo mánas tvāṣṭu svā́hā | tvā subhava sū́ryāya devébhyas tvā marīcípébhyo devā́ṃśo yásmai tvéḍe tát satyám upariprutā bhaṅgéna ható ’sau phaṭ | prāṇā́ya tvā vyānā́ya tvā ||
Thou art well-fashioned for all the powers, the heavenly and the earthly: may Mind, the Fashioner, shape thee—svāhā! Thee, O auspicious Becoming, for Sūrya; thee for the gods; thee for the ray-drinkers. The divine portion for whom I invoke thee—that is the truth. Overthrown, smitten with the cleaving stroke—phaṭ! For prāṇa thee; for vyāna thee.
