Transliteration mányave ’yastā́paṃ kródhāya nisaráṃ yógāya yóktāraṃ śókāyābhisartā́raṃ kṣémāya vimóktāram utkū́la-nikū́lebhyas triṣṭhínaṃ vápuse mānaskṛtáṃ śī́lāyāñjanīkārī́ṃ nírr̥tyai kośakārī́ṃ yamā́yāsū́m
Translation To Manyu (Wrath) I assign the iron-heater; to Anger the expeller; to Discipline the yoker; to Sorrow the assailer; to Security the releaser; from bank and counter-bank the three-based one; to Form the mind-wrought; to Habit the maker of darkening; to Nirṛti the sheath-maker; to Yama I assign the life-breath.
