Samhita Patha (Devanagari) होता॒ यक्षद्ब॒र्हिषीन्द्रं॑ निषद्व॒रं वृ॑ष॒भं नर्या॑पसम् । वसु॑भी रु॒द्रैरा॑दि॒त्यैः सु॒युग्भि॑र्ब॒र्हिरास॑द॒द्वेत्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑
Transliteration hótā yakṣad barhíṣéndraṁ niṣádvaraṁ vṛ́ṣabhaṁ naryā́pasam | vásubhī rudráir ādityáiḥ suyúgbhir barhír āsadat vétv ā́jyasya hótar yája
Translation Let the Hotṛ worship Indra with the barhis—Indra, the best to sit, the bull, whose work is for men. With the Vasus, the Rudras, the Ādityas, well-yoked, let him sit down upon the barhis; let him come to the ghee-offering. O Hotṛ, sacrifice!
