Transliteration imā́m agṛbhṇan raśanā́m ṛtásya pū́rve ā́yuṣi vidáthēṣu kavyā́ | sā́ no asmínt suté ā́ babhūva ṛtásya sā́mant sarámā arápantī
Translation This cord of Order did the inspired (seers) seize of old, in the first age, at the sacred gatherings. May she, in this our pressing, come unto us,—Saramā, creeping, (bringing) the chant of Order.
