आ वा॒चो मध्य॑मरुहद्भुर॒ण्युर॒यम॒ग्निः सत्प॑ति॒श्चेकि॑तानः । पृ॒ष्ठे पृ॑थि॒व्या निहि॑तो॒ दवि॑द्युतद॒धस्प॒दं कृ॑णुतां॒ ये पृ॑त॒न्यव॑:

Transliteration

ā́ vā́co mádhyam aruhad bhuraṇyúr ayám agníḥ sátpatiś cékītānaḥ | pṛṣṭhé pṛthivyā́ níhito dávidyutad adháspadaṃ kṛṇutāṃ yé pṛtanýavaḥ

Translation

Unto the midmost seat of Speech hath mounted the swift one: this Agni, the lord of the good, made manifest. Laid on the back of Earth he hath flashed forth; let those that are contentious make for themselves a lower footing.
