धृष्टि॑र॒स्यपा॑ऽग्ने अ॒ग्निमा॒मादं॑ जहि॒ निष्क्र॒व्याद॑ᳪ से॒धा दे॑व॒यजं॑ वह । ध्रु॒वम॑सि पृथि॒वीं दृ॑ᳪह ब्रह्म॒वनि॑ त्वा क्षत्र॒वनि॑ सजात॒वन्युप॑दधामि॒ भातृ॑व्यस्य व॒धाय॑
dhŕ̥ṣṭir asy apā́’gne agním āmā́daṃ jahi niṣkravyā́daṃ sedhá devayajáṃ vaha | dhrúvam asi pr̥thivī́ṃ dŕ̥ṃha brahmavaníṃ tvā kṣatravaníṃ sajātavaníṃ úpa dadhāmi bhrā́tr̥vyasya vadhā́ya
Thou art the assailing might: O Agni, with the Waters, smite the raw-devourer; repel the flesh-eater; bear onward the sacrifice that is for the Gods. Thou art the Firm One: make thou the earth steadfast. Thee, the winner of sacred power, the winner of royal power, the winner of one’s own folk, I lay down—for the overthrow of the rival.
