Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It presents Shiva’s “curse” as an inner, corrective bondage (pāśa) that purifies the soul and ultimately restores yoga—showing that Pati (Shiva) uses discipline and grace to lead the being back to right order and liberation.
By portraying Shiva as the compassionate governor who both restrains and uplifts, it supports Saguna Shiva devotion: worship of the Linga and Shiva’s form is a means to regain “yoga” (re-integration with dharma and divine presence) after karmic disruption.
Adopt inner restraint and steady worship: japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), daily Shiva-pūjā (Linga abhiṣeka if possible), and a disciplined vow (vrata) that transforms inner tendencies into sattva and spiritual independence.
