It highlights how worldly identity—lineage, status, and martial pride—remains changeable on earth, whereas Shaiva Siddhanta points beyond such transient distinctions toward devotion to Pati (Shiva) as the stable refuge.
By contrasting shifting social power with the enduring Lord, it implicitly supports turning from kṣatriya pride and conflict toward steadiness in Saguna Shiva worship—Linga-upasana that disciplines ego and aligns one with dharma.
A practical takeaway is to counter battle-pride with daily Panchakshara japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) remembrance, cultivating humility and inner restraint.
