Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights Shiva’s anugraha (saving grace): He preserves dharmic continuity (imperishable gotra) and sanctifies the devotee’s life by granting abiding sānnidhya, indicating Pati (Shiva) freeing the pashu through closeness and protection.
Shiva’s promise of constant presence aligns with Saguna worship—Shiva becomes accessible through consecrated space (āśrama/temple) and steady devotion, as in Linga-upāsanā where the devotee experiences Shiva’s nearness through daily pūjā.
Maintain a regular Shiva-pūjā to invite sānnidhya—daily japa of the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” along with simple observances like vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa as supports for continuous remembrance.
