Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It asserts that Śiva-jñāna is the highest teaching and must be grasped as tattva (true reality); mere learning is insufficient—only genuine inner wisdom leads to understanding and liberation.
Linga and Saguna worship are supports that mature devotion and purify the mind; this verse emphasizes that their culmination is tattva-based realization of Shiva, not only external observance.
Steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with contemplative inquiry into Shiva-tattva is implied; it is best supported by disciplined purity practices such as Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa with focused meditation.
