Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It highlights Śiva’s role as Pati (the Lord) who protects the devotee’s dharmic continuity (vaṁśa) through satya (truth) and anugraha (grace), showing that divine assurance itself becomes a sustaining spiritual refuge.
The verse points to Śiva’s saguna compassion—He gives a direct promise and enables manifestation (vigraha). In Linga worship, the devotee similarly approaches the formless-supreme through a sacred, accessible manifestation that conveys protection and blessing.
A practical takeaway is satya-vrata (truthfulness) supported by daily Śiva-smaraṇa: japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” while offering water to the Liṅga, praying specifically for protection of dharma and family lineage.
