त्वामग्ने समिधानं यविष्ठ्य देवा दूतं चक्रिरे हव्यवाहनम् । उरुज्रयसं घृतयोनिमाहुतं त्वेषं चक्षुर्दधिरे चोदयन्मति ॥

Transliteration

tvām agne sam-idhānaṁ yaviṣṭhya devā dūtaṁ cakrire havya-vāhanam | uru-jrayasaṁ ghṛta-yonim āhutaṁ tveṣaṁ cakṣur dadhire codayan-mati ||

Translation

You, O Agni, when kindled, O youngest and ever-new, the gods have made their messenger, the bearer of the oblation. Wide in your forward drive, with your source in the clarified light, invoked by offering—you are set as the fierce Eye, impelling the thought toward its right movement.
