Rig Veda 4.34.10: Mandala 4, Sukta 34, Mantra 10

Sukta 4.34

Rishi: Vāmadeva Gautama (traditional attribution for Mandala 4); hymn addressed to the Ṛbhus within the Vāmadeva corpus
Devata: Ṛbhus (divine craftsmen; also linked with Vāja in the triad Ṛbhu-Vibhvan-Vāja)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (probable; standard for many RV 4.34 verses—requires metrical verification against syllable count)

ये गोमन्तं वाजवन्तं सुवीरं रयिं धत्थ वसुमन्तं पुरुक्षुम् । ते अग्रेपा ऋभवो मन्दसाना अस्मे धत्त ये च रातिं गृणन्ति ॥

Sanskrit recitationRig Veda 4.34.10

ye gómantaṃ vā́javantaṃ suvī́raṃ rayíṃ dhatthá vásumantaṃ purukṣúm | te agrepā́ ṛ́bhavo mandasānā́ asmè dhatta yé ca rātíṃ gṛṇánti ||

You who have established the plenitude that is luminous with Rays (go-mant), rich in victorious Force (vāja-vant), and full of heroic energies (su-vīra)—a wealth (rayi) abundant and wide in its increase—O Ṛbhus, guardians of the foremost advance, rejoicing in your own inspired delight: place that same gift within us too, in those who affirm and sing the offering of your grace.
