त्वद्धि पुत्र सहसो वि पूर्वीर्देवस्य यन्त्यूतयो वि वाजाः । त्वं देहि सहस्रिणं रयिं नोऽद्रोघेण वचसा सत्यमग्ने ॥
tvád dhi putra sahaso ví pū́rvīr devásya yánty ūtáyo ví vājā́ḥ | tváṃ dehi sahasríṇaṃ rayíṃ no’dróghena vácasā satyám agne ||
From thee indeed, O son of Force, go forth the many ancient helps of the god, and the plenitudes of energising power. Do thou give us the thousand-fold rayi—by a word without deceit, O Agni, a word of truth.
