Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
अस्यैश्चनेत्रैश्श्रवणैःपपातरुधिरंबहु ।विघूर्णमानोनिश्चेष्टोरथोपस्थउपाविशत् ।।6.59.116।।
āsyaiś ca netraiḥ śravaṇaiḥ papāta rudhiraṃ bahu |
vighūrṇamāno niśceṣṭo rathopasthe upāviśat ||6.59.116||
ເລືອດຈຳນວນຫຼາຍໄຫຼອອກຈາກປາກ ຕາ ແລະຫູຂອງເຂົາ; ເຂົາຫມຸນວຽນແລ້ວກໍນິ່ງສະຫງົບບໍ່ໄຫວ ຈົນຊຸດຕົວນັ່ງລົງເທິງບ່ອນນັ່ງໃນລົດຮົບ.
Much blood flowed from his(Ravana's) mouth, ears, and eyes. Rolling in the hind part of the chariot he became still and sank.
The verse underscores consequence: violence and arrogance culminate in downfall; dharma literature often depicts adharma as self-destructive.
Rāvaṇa, struck hard, bleeds from multiple senses and collapses onto his chariot seat.
Implicitly, the protecting force of Rama’s side—where even allies like Hanumān become instruments of restraint against tyranny.
