The Slaying of Dhumrākṣa
ध्वजैर्विमथितैर्भग्नैःखङ्गैश्चविनिपातितैः ।रथैर्विध्वंसितैश्चापिपतितैःरजनीचरैः ।।6.52.12।।
dhvajair vimathitair bhagnaiḥ khaṅgaiś ca vinipātitaiḥ |
rathair vidhvaṃsitaiś cāpi patitaiḥ rajanīcaraiḥ || 6.52.12 ||
ທຸງຮົບຖືກທຳລາຍແຕກຫັກ, ດາບຟັນໃຫ້ລົ້ມລົງ, ລົດຮົບຖືກທຳລາຍ; ແລະເມື່ອພວກຣາຊນີຈະຣະ (ຜູ້ທ່ອງຄືນ) ລົ້ມຕາຍ ສະໜາມຮົບກໍເກືອນກາດໄປດ້ວຍຊາກພັງພິນາດ.
Indeed, the night rangers were killed, their flags were broken. They were crushed, their swords were destroyed with chariots fallen.
Adharma’s outward power—symbols, weapons, and war-machines—cannot endure when opposed by a steadfast righteous cause; collapse follows moral disorder.
