rāmārthaṃ vānarārthaṃ ca cikīrṣan karma duṣkaram | samudrasya paraṃ pāraṃ duṣprāpaṃ prāptum icchati ||

ເພື່ອພຣະຣາມ ແລະເພື່ອພາລະກິດຂອງຫມູ່ວານອນ ລາວປາຖະໜາຈະກະທຳການອັນຫຍຸ້ງຍາກເກືອບຈະເປັນໄປບໍ່ໄດ້ ແລະໃຄ່ຈະໄປໃຫ້ເຖິງຝັ່ງໄກຂອງມະຫາສະມຸດ ອັນເຂົ້າເຖິງໄດ້ຍາກຍິ່ງ.
