FAQs

“Kamalāsana” means “the lotus-seated one” and is a standard epithet of Brahmā, the creator deity, traditionally depicted seated on a lotus.

The verse describes reverential surrender—approaching Brahmā, bowing with heads to the ground (a gesture of humility), and offering stuti (praise) through eloquent speech.

It highlights humility and turning toward the divine through respectful approach and praise, especially when one is distressed or uncertain.
