In the background, a maternal luminous figure (Prajñā-to-be-revealed) appears as a soft halo, indicating the forthcoming ‘mother’ teaching.","primary_figures":["Teacher/sage (narrator figure)","Lajjā (personified modesty)","Sumati","Prajñā (as distant maternal aura)"],"setting":"An āśrama courtyard with tulsi-like potted plants and a low wooden seat for instruction; palm-leaf manuscripts and a water pot nearby.","lighting_mood":"forest dappled","color_palette":["soft ochre","leaf green","smoke gray","lotus pink","warm gold"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: sage instructing with raised hand in abhaya-like gentleness; Lajjā as a modestly veiled maiden; Sumati nearby; gold leaf on halos and manuscript edges; rich maroon and green textiles, ornate borders, temple-arch framing.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: intimate āśrama scene with delicate lines; Lajjā slightly turned with downcast eyes; sage speaking softly; pale greens and pinks, refined faces, small details like manuscripts and water pot under a tree canopy.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines, expressive eyes; Lajjā with veil and restrained posture; sage in teaching mudrā; background lotus mandala hinting at Prajñā as mother; red/yellow/green pigments with dark blue accents.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central vignette of sage and veiled Lajjā framed by floral borders; lotus motifs and hanging lamps; deep blue background with gold highlights; subtle inclusion of a maternal halo motif above, foreshadowing Prajñā."}

FAQs

It emphasizes upholding lajjā (modesty/restraint) and signals a transition to explaining the identity or role of a “mother” previously mentioned in the dialogue.

This verse alone does not name her; the identity depends on the immediately preceding and following verses. Providing the surrounding shlokas would allow accurate identification.

It acts as a connective statement: the speaker affirms a moral point (modesty should be maintained) and then introduces the next topic—an explanation about the mother referenced earlier.
